Launching The Lost Sheep at the British Alpaca Futurity Show
The countdown begins!
Its late March now and am really aware today how close we are to launching The Lost sheep company in our first show at p- lush at the Ricoh arena in Coventry on the 27th March! I am so pleased to be part of the British Fibre Festival this year. It is very appropriate that we will be showing our lovely Welsh yarn alongside the alpacas since Rachel and Chas from UK alpaca have been such a great support and I have really enjoyed designing for them.
So much to do and so little time….
Have been really busy today, but full of the things I love!
Started the day teaching a new student how to card fleece and use her new Spinning wheel. I love that moment when during our chat she suddenly realises that she is in control and not the wheel! No stopping her now!
Spent the afternoon Navajo plying a rustic spun Llanwenog yarn ready for the show. It is a gorgeous squishy yarn and in a huge hank gets hugged like a teddy bear. Couldn’t wait to use it so started on a lovely chunky Tunisian crocheted scarf – a new range to compliment our hand woven scarves.
In the evening chose some photos of our rare breed darlings for the website then sorted out some kits for the drop spindle class tomorrow!
To bed and dreaming of spinning all that yarn for p-lush – don’t forget to get your tickets!
